Working on a little line art, gonna look more in Aubrey Beardsley again i think….

Blue eyes.

Completed and cropped. Not really sure if I like it, but I think I’m improving in photoshop. I need to increase the values, there’s not enough contrast. And next time I’ll use reference.

Drew this with the intention of practicing photoshop with a face, but now I realise it’s got far too much shading ¬.¬ It’s terrible but it only wasted 15 minutes of my life!

It’s a possible idea for a painting, but I’m not sure i like it as much now…

 

That Blonde Girl

I’m to lazy to ever finish theis so here’s a (bad) photo of this canvas. It’s a diddy little thing, but not quite diddy enough to fit in the scanner.
Gonna stick this on my front door, as loads of people seem to be putting stuff on their doors in my block and it makes my flat easier to find. Besides, I have no real other use for it.
And oh my! I used refernece for this. I usually don’t refernece because I’m to impatient to go searching for it, but it’s about time I got back into using it so here we go. I don’t really like it though, it was too bright, she was pale and the photo has strong studio lights in it so there isn’t enough depth coming across because the values had such a low contrast. Hmmmph! So that’s why it won’t be finished.
